Requirements: GS-08: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: serving as a Firefighter AND Paramedic providing emergency medical response and treatment (e.g., Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); advanced life support (ALS); airway management, emergency childbirth), rescue operations (e.g., high and low angle rescue, trench confined space rescue, auto extrication) and transporting emergency personnel and patients safely to emergency room. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: serving as a Firefighter AND Paramedic performing and providing structural and wild land firefighting, emergency medical response and treatment (e.g., Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); advanced life support (ALS); airway management, emergency childbirth), rescue operations (e.g., high and low angle rescue, trench confined space rescue, auto extrication), hazardous materials response and transporting emergency personnel and patients safely to emergency room.
