QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE FOR GS-13: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position MUST include: Demonstrating experience with organizational functions, programs, policies, regulations, procedures and operations to determine impact on program goals. Serving as a technical program and policy expert to provide guidance to other specialists and management officials both within and outside the agency. Recognizing the impact of tax issues and enforcement changes to revise procedures using systems and/or programs (e.g., Microsoft products (Excel) Integrated Automation Technologies (IAT), Integrated Data Retrieval System (IDRS)). Applying SBSE-specific software/applications, such as RGS (Report Generation Software), UCP (Unattended Case Processing), ACE (Automated Correspondence Examination), and CEAS (Correspondence Examination Automation Support), AIMS (Audit Information Management System) to analyze effects of legislative changes. Utilizing analytical and evaluating methods to develop new approaches to existing programs, such as compliance functions. Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations, identifying gaps or conflicts in program information, consolidating findings and recommending alternatives.
