Requirements: To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): Education and Certification Requirements – Applicants must meet the credentialing requirements of Public Law 97-35 and 42 CFR Part 75 for radiologic personnel. This includes successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology educational program and current certification/registration as a radiographer. Note: Certain exceptions may apply: 1) Individuals employed by the Federal Government as radiologic personnel before January 13, 1986, may qualify based on evidence of current or satisfactory performance, or certification from a licensed practitioner authorized to prescribe radiologic procedures (such as a physician, osteopath, dentist, podiatrist, or chiropractor). 2) Individuals first employed by the Federal Government as radiologic personnel after January 13, 1986, may qualify if they completed training or practiced in a state or foreign jurisdiction where accreditation or licensure was not available in that specialty at the time. Applicants must provide acceptable evidence of training, experience, and competency as determined by OPM or the employing agency.
