Requirements: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing the full range of accounting functions (e.g. financial operations, financial reporting, systems accounting, financial improvement, audit readiness) across a large and complex organization. Experience resolving complex accounting issues with a broad and significant impact. Experience navigating financial and accounting interdependencies to resolve complex financial issues, to include: understanding organizational responsibilities and enhancing working relationships; leveraging financial systems and processes that cross organizational boundaries to resolve accounting issues and produce actionable and reliable financial information; applying change management skills to drive financial improvement; effectively advocating for financial interests of a large organization. Experience applying quantitative analytical skills to monitor and improve financial outcomes across a large organization. Experience recommending, developing, and implementing new financial policies, processes and systems across a large and complex organization where impact to organizational mission is significant. In addition to specialized experience, this position also has an Individual Occupational Requirement: Degree: accounting; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting.
