Requirements: WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. AND Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Coordinating and conducting epidemiological studies to collect, analyze, and interpret public health data; Providing scientific and technical consultation on epidemiologic methods, surveillance, and public health investigations; and Disseminating and translating epidemiologic data and findings to support evidence-based public health decision-making.
