Requirements: GS 11 Experience: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Analyzing various travel and immigration patterns and trends including international commerce and supply chain flows; and/or the entities, events, or relationships that impact border security; Researching tools, techniques and procedures used to support analysis and production of intelligence products, and establishing the trends, patterns and estimates that enhance situational awareness of decision makers and operators relating to intelligence production; Utilizing and showing understanding of federal laws, regulations, directives, and policies relating to the CBP mission, intelligence activities and their application. GS-12 Experience: You qualify at the GS-12 level if you possess one year of specialized experience that equipped you with the skills needed to perform the job duties. Examples include experience in Assisting with researching internal and external collection requirement systems of record to determine if collection requirements are already articulated and recorded in systems of record; Developing collection plans designed to effectively and efficiently utilize collection assets and resources to address validated intelligence requirements; Participating in relevant internal and external working groups, boards, and collection management committees, to evaluate, discuss, deconflict, synchronize, test, and validate intelligence collection efforts before they are executed. Education Substitution: GS-11: You may substitute a Ph.D., an equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a qualifying field for experience at the GS-11 grade level or an LL.M., if related.
