Requirements: Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Preparing comments and impact statements for senior leadership regarding proposed legislation, executive orders, and Department directives by analyzing statutory requirements and agency directives; Reviewing and interpreting complex federal regulations to ensure program activities align with legal requirements and agency policies, coordinating with management and office support staff; Conducting regular updates with leadership by providing progress reports on program initiatives, addressing concerns, and adjusting plans based on feedback from higher-level officials; Designing and implementing advanced performance measurement systems to track program success, organizing briefings and presentations for executive management to communicate planning and control data; Developing and implementing new administrative procedures to address complex policy questions, conducting special studies and providing a basis for major decisions affecting agency activities and operations NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
