Requirements: Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Directing, implementing, coordinating, or overseeing major segments of agency-wide mission or administrative programs, including planning and conducting special studies, providing authoritative advice to management, and developing or evaluating policies to achieve organizational objectives Providing technical assistance and analytical support to headquarters or field management staff on planning systems, management programs, policies, procedures, and organizational problem-solving methods to meet mission requirements Developing, implementing, or monitoring management information systems and using long- and short-range planning methods to support organizational goals, priorities, resource decisions, and program performance objectives Planning, organizing, or leading team studies, projects, or task forces across organizational lines, including coordinating work, establishing milestones, evaluating progress, and persuading management to accept and implement recommendations Preparing briefings, presentations, impact statements, policy comments, or recommendations for senior leadership on the effects of legislation, executive orders, agency directives, or policy changes on program operations and management requirements NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
