Requirements: OPMs Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions. TO QUALIFY AT THE GS/FG-12 level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/FG-11 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is researching and collecting data and information from various sources, such as database systems, manuals, policies, procedures, and other means to prepare reports and papers and respond to inquiries; experience conducting analytical studies and projects that are nationwide in scope; experience preparing briefings/presentations; experience identifying, analyzing, and recommending solutions for complex/difficult problems. TO QUALIFY AT THE GS/FG-13 level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/FG-12 level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully in the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is experience in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes; experience reviewing/evaluating existing regulations; experience collaborating and or leading internal/external workgroups; experience utilizing analytics and technical expertise in preparing and presenting technical reports to senior management.
