Provide course descriptions as necessary. Specialized Experience Requirement: For the GS-07 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05. Qualifying specialized experience is defined as one or more of the following: As a trainee, researched lands/realty information such as ownership, water rights, special use permits, or boundary management issues; Assisted higher-graded realty specialists in preparing lands reports or projects such as boundary management issue, acquisition projects, water rights analyses, special uses program permit, or an appraisal; and/or Applied lands/realty guidance and procedures to form a routine lands action, such as survey issue, acquisition proposal, water rights analyses, or special uses program permit. OR One full year of graduate level education. The education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work; OR An appropriate combination of graduate level education and specialized experience described above; OR Superior Academic Achievement (click the link to determine if you are eligible: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-policies/. The education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
