QUALIFICATION REQUIRMENTS: To qualify for this position, you must meet the qualification requirements outlined below: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-12: To be eligible for this position, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: Experience evaluating Internal Revenue Service (IRS) functions, programs, policies, regulations, procedures, and operations to assess program plans and determine the impact of changes on program goals and objectives. Experience conducting program reviews, studies, or projects involving cross-functional programs to evaluate operations, coordinate systems, and optimize the use of program resources. Experience applying analytical and evaluative methods to assess program operations, identify gaps or conflicting information, consolidate findings, and recommend alternatives or corrective actions to improve program effectiveness. Experience evaluating tax administration issues or enforcement changes affecting assigned programs and recommending revisions to procedures or implementation of regulatory requirements. Experience applying management planning, program evaluation, process analysis, management reporting procedures, and available system capabilities to resolve operational issues and develop statistical or management information reports.
